Overview
GoodName is a trust and access app operated by Advanced eLearning Solutions LLC. GoodName uses SMS only to send one-time verification codes for account security and phone number verification.
GoodName does not send marketing, promotional, sales, or advertising text messages through this SMS campaign.
SMS Call to Action / Opt-In Flow
GoodName users request SMS verification codes inside the GoodName account onboarding or account verification flow.
A user opts in to receive a GoodName verification text by completing the following steps:
- The user creates or logs into a GoodName account.
- The user reaches the Phone Verification step during onboarding or account verification.
- The Phone Verification screen explains that GoodName will send a one-time code to confirm the user's phone number.
- The user enters their mobile phone number.
- Before requesting the code, the user is shown this SMS disclosure:
"By requesting a code, you agree to receive a one-time GoodName verification text. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. View our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms."
- The user clicks the "Send code" button.
- GoodName sends one SMS message containing a one-time verification code.
- The user enters the code in GoodName to confirm their phone number.
The "Send code" button is the SMS Call to Action. GoodName does not send a verification text unless the user enters a phone number and clicks "Send code."
Message Purpose
GoodName SMS messages are used only for one-time passcodes, phone number verification, and account security.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on user verification attempts. Users may receive a verification text when they request a new code.

Opt-Out
Users may reply STOP to opt out at any time.
